To design and develop a new website capable of organising a large amount of content while significantly improving the navigation.
The new site needed to be mobile friendly, while also being significantly more visible in search engine results. Another challenge was the tight budget and timescale.
The Nevin Economic Research Institute is a think tank based on the Island of Ireland.
With offices in Dublin and Belfast, the Nevin Economic Research Institute is a research organisation which, at its core, has a vision of the achievement of a better, fairer society.
We used our experience in developing large, information-centric websites to reorganise the content and information architecture. To deliver a solution that could handle the complex requirements while being easy to manage, we used the powerful Drupal open source CMS.
Our solution involved implementing a taxonomy, allowing the site to be navigated by the core themes underpinning the research in addition to the core navigation.
Making large sites easy to use
One of our specialities at Infobo is developing content-heavy sites that are well organised and easy to use. The Nevin Economic Research Institute is an example of how we improved a website through our understanding of different content types and subject taxonomies.Visit the Nevin Economic Research Institute
